Grace StottelaarGuestMeganHostHey, Grace, welcome to the MyWord Speech Therapy Podcast.
It's so lovely to have you.
Thanks, Megan.
I'm really excited to be here today.
I'm so looking forward to this conversation and just hearing your experience and expertise in this area, being a chiro and yeah, all the wonderful work that you do.
So before I go and introduce you, why don't you introduce yourself and tell us a bit about the work that you do?

So I've got a beautiful little nearly five-year-old daughter, a loving husband.

And yeah, now I've just kind of delved into a little bit of pelvic work, which really works with the woman's nervous system.
I love it.
But
tell us how you ended up in this role
did you always want to work in this area

yeah so I give that to my mum so when I was 12 I actually ended up with hip dysplasia at age 12 which probably a lot of our listeners probably haven't heard of at age 12 so and that ended up in two massive operations where I had to basically yeah relearn how to walk again and refined my not that you can see me but I am quite tall behind this mic and refined my center of balance so that led me to physio care led me to my therapy care and then I actually found an amazing chiropractor and yeah that's where my kind of journey started so after school I headed down to Melbourne and I still remember the day mum dropped me there And went to uni for five years and in my first year of uni worked for a chiropractor and basically it was him and me to start with.

That's really where it led me to now and I thank Marcus every day nearly because it's how I run my business now and I probably wouldn't have been able to do what I do now without having his expertise and guidance through those uni years.
