But yeah, to dive right into it, why is
it important to clean your muzzleloader? I mean, that's a good question.
For the guys that are getting into it fresh, black powder and black powder substitutes is really corrosive.
It has a sulfur base to it, and it wants to eat the steel of the gun it's being used in.
So it's the fun tradeoff.
The product you use is the same product that wants to destroy your gun.
So it is important to clean because you need to get that residue out of there.
You're going to have to use it, but you're also going to want to clean it out of there really well, preserve the steel really well that is on the gun, And that's going to be of mondo importance to the lifetime of a muzzleloader.

And I know a lot of people, if they're coming from the centerfire world into muzzleloading, they may not realize how dirty and corrosive black powder can be.
So I can kind of sneak up on people sometimes, but that just kind of plays into the importance of muzzleloading.
