You Are Being Deceived

My brothers and sisters, we are living in an age of deception.

There is so much of deception out there that it is very scary.

The Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam says one of the signs of the hour is that a time will come when the truth will seem false and it will not be believed.

And falsehood will look true, it will seem true, and people will believe the falsehood.

Today we are living in an age where very sadly and unfortunately, as much as Islam has stressed the importance of authentication, we do not authenticate.

People see things and they just believe things, knowing that we are living in an age of AI, where a lot of what you see is actually fake.

But we fall prey to it.

And sadly, the people have also become fake.

In all honesty, before we met people and mashaAllah, you know what you see is what you get.

We have a good feeling in our hearts and minds.

Today they will tell you the same person stole my money, cheated me, they had bad habits, they got married to my daughter, they beat her up, or the daughter got married and she had all these qualities, whatever it might be.

The point I'm raising is there is too much of deception.

We need to cleanse ourselves and we need to learn to authenticate a little bit more.

When you pick your phone up, one of the ways that the enemy's getting hold of our brains is just to entertain us with something that's really not true.

It's a laugh.

What happens? Your morals go, your values go without you realizing, the way you dress goes, and when your pipe is burst at home, you call the accountant.

And when you need to repair something at home, you're calling a pilot.

And when there is a problem, for example, with maybe your accounts, you end up calling the plumber.

And you listen to him and you listen to his advice and you take your accounts from the plumber and you take your plumbing advice from the accountant.

That's the age we're living in now.

How many of you have seen people who have zero qualification in Islam and they are issuing the biggest fatwas online, be it on TikTok or Instagram.

They are creating the worst image of Abu Bakr as-Siddiq radiallahu anhu and the sahabah radiallahu anhum 1400 years later in such a shameless way that those men who were the greatest to tread the earth after the prophets of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala, may Allah's peace and blessings be upon them, are not even there to clarify their own names.

You talk about Abu Bakr as-Siddiq radiallahu anhu in a negative way 1400 years later and at the same time you deny hadith in totality and at the same time you're taking the Quran and you're saying it's just the Quran when the same chain of narrators that brought the Quran brought the hadith and those very men that you are arguing about brought to you the same Quran.

Come on, make it make sense.
