May Allah Almighty accept the Hajj and may Allah Almighty make it easy for all of us to go for Hajj and for Umrah and to be connected to Mecca and Medina because the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam says, One Umrah to another Umrah is an expiation of the minor sins that are committed between the two.
Notice the names of Allah that are repeated right at the beginning of the Quran and we repeat it so many times.
How to get the mercy of Allah? You get it by trying to obey His commands and abstaining from the prohibitions that He has declared.
So you get the mercy of Allah and you make dua, you constantly ask Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala and this is how Allah Almighty blesses us.
My brothers, my sisters, the week before we embarked on Hajj, I remember mentioning that because it's the fifth pillar of Islam, it is considered the last pillar of Islam.
Why? Because by that time you would have had to fulfill all the other four pillars of Islam and you would have some wealth unless you are being sent by someone.
You would have wealth, you would have paid zakat, now you can afford the journey and Allah says it's now about time that you understood that the real journey is into the hereafter.
And so you've already earned a livelihood, you know what the world is all about, you have your business or your income and you can buy and sell in this world.
It's eternal and you will only be able to buy it, like I said, with your good deeds, with wealth being used in the right direction, with the correct intention, earning the mercy of Allah and then you get this beautiful, priceless, eternal gift.
