NY Giants Week 1 Reaction vs Cowboys | The PERFECT Week 1 Performance

As we've done forever in these game reactions, I'm gonna start with the offense, and that's an exciting group to talk about in this game.

I, I feel like in a lot of previous years it was like, "Oh, here's Daniel Jones again.

Shitty game.

Or, oh, we can't run the ball.

We can't block anybody." It was the complete opposite, right? I feel like Jackson Dart, I think people have called it his best game of his career, and, like, maybe statistically it's not, but I feel like the way he played was pretty damn flawless, right? I did mention the second and nine corner route, which was, like, 20 yards down the field to the left to Nabers that was under thrown.

There was also a forced pass to Nabers early that was a dropped interception, right? But I feel like part of that was, like, forcing the ball to Nabers and just wanting to get him involved early in the game and everything.

So, like, I don't know how much of that is, like, Jackson Dart's fault, but wasn't picked, thank God.

No harm, no foul.

But 23 of 29, 230 passing yards, three passing touchdowns, no...

Well, he almost had a turnover on the fumble, but no turnovers.

And by the way, that was Jackson Dart's fault.

Like, he has to see that corner blitz coming, and I think it was actually Caleb Downs, so not even a, a corner technically.

But that was, like, I guess his first sack in the NFL technically.

Also, a 134 passer rating.

I mean, Jackson Dart really controlled this game, right? You look at Dak Prescott who's in, like, his 10th year now.

Is it 10, 11? Whatever it is, it's a long time.

Jackson Dart honestly looked like the more composed and experienced quarterback out there, right? And I think, I guess one of the biggest knocks on Jackson Dart is like, oh, is he gonna be able to stay healthy? How can he read defenses? Like, how's he gonna react when he faces adversity? All these questions we have about young quarterbacks.

And I feel like this was a big moment, right? I mean, this is...

I really think this was a massive game for the Giants because if they came out and laid an egg, and let's say they lost this game, like, 23 to 6, I, I would feel really shitty about this team right now.

I, I have to be honest, right? I feel like when you lose week one in a bad way, like, that's gon- like, that's how you're gonna feel.

People that talk about the Chargers are gonna feel that way, and whoever else had a bad week one loss.

But there definitely was pressure in this game.

I mean, the crowd was tremendous.

I mean, they were loud throughout the entire game.

Obviously, there were a decent amount of Cowboy fans in there.
