I would love to hear you talk a bit more about I mean, there's no place like Houston.
And I have personally a lot of thoughts about what it means to mother and caregiving here.
But I'm curious for you, how would you describe what it's like to be a mother here in Houston?

But I did find when I got into my motherhood journey that there was a lot that was gatekept.

And I'm like, why didn't you guys tell me this? And then especially with the path for parenting that I chose, definitely.

I don't know how deep I can go here, but, you know, I went a different kind of route.

And so I really had to pull back layers to find my true community who was moving in the same way that I wanted.

And so I followed a non-traditional path with some of the choices that I made for them and their care.

The city is so rich in culture and in all these really amazing institutions of knowledge that as a homeschooler, it's a goldmine.

There's so much to tap into Houston that I haven't done because I've always said it's for tourists.

And motherhood has made me have that perspective because wanting them to be able to learn, experience this city where they have roots, it makes you become more adventurous, more curious.
