Philipp Schulte Interview: Vesperian, Physical Media, and Being a Record Label in 2026

Hello and welcome to the Mostly Yelling Podcast! I'm your host Greg Canelti, and this week I've got Philip Schulte who heads up the Vesperian record label.

Philip spent a pretty good portion of his career at Century Media and only kicked up Vesperian earlier in 2026, but he's got some really, really great bands and great releases already.

I found out about Vesperian shortly after they released the new Stormkeep record, but there's a

lot to love about this record label.

I mean, they've got Wayfarer, they've got Tomarum, they've got Polymoon, they've got more who is a fantastic band that everybody needs to listen to.

Dry Wedding, Bone Abduction, The Mosaic Window, Dreadnought, and a ton more.

It's just, it's a really, truly great label.

And again, for such a new label, Phillip has really amassed a roster of fantastic artists.

Philip and I had a really great conversation, but I guess that kind of goes for every guest that I've had on the Mostly Yelling podcast so far.
