I'm your host, Greg Kennedy, and this week I've got Iron Fortress Records founder Ben with me.

But before we get into that, I just wanted to talk about a really cool record store find that I had at Princeton Record Exchange about probably like a week or two ago.

I make it a point to go there like once a month and just dig through all the used CDs and all that stuff because people sell a lot of really good stuff.

But this time I found Gorgon Knott's 2003 record Emergent on CD, which is really quite hard to find even online.

And if you don't know who Gorgon Nod is, it was a project headed up by Cynic bassist Sean Malone, who in my opinion is one of the greatest metal bass players out there.

yeah emergence got malone it's got paul masvidal from cynic it's got jason gobel who used to be in cynic it's got jim matheus from fate's warning and osi it's got steve hackett who used to be in genesis it's got sean reinert who used to drum in cynic it's got bill bruford who used to drum in king crimson and yes and a bunch of other bands And it's just so good.

Gorgonaut is not on any streaming services, but Paul or whoever is handling the Malone estate, please, if you're listening, the world really needs Gorgonaut reissues.
