Not Red, Not Blue: Lauren Pinkston on Raising Kids and Running for Governor as an Independent

Tanya, how are you doing? Are you hanging in? How is your today? We're recording on Thursday.

We're almost at the end of the week.

Oh, man.

We're almost there.

Although we talk about this all the time, that there's not really a break.

And sometimes the week itself is a little bit of a break because there's child care

involved.

Right.

So true.

Yeah.

But it's good.

We're past Labor Day.

So no one, wear your summer whites.

Be cognizant of that.

That is such a good

point.

No, that is such a good point, though, because I have these like really like you were wearing those wide like like white jeans the other day.

And it made me like remember that I have a really cute pair of white jeans and I haven't worn them.

And I'm like, it is it is like the end of the time I can wear white.

No more, no more.

And that's one rule that I follow.

I'm very bad at fashion.

I don't care if somebody else wears white, but like I was thinking about packing for a trip in October and I was like, because it's fun because I'm not packing for a child.

It's like the first time I'm going to be packing for myself.

And I was like, oh my God, I can wear that dress.
