So previously on the Miskatonic Playhouse, you're out looking for a friend, colleague, ex, it varies, Daniel Kincaid, and an antique pirate treasure map stolen from his place of work.

It's kind of raised some questions, but You did your homework, you did your research, you talked to a elderly historian whose partner, and I use the word advisedly, Reddington Walton Brown, disappeared looking for the treasure on this map 50 years ago, back in the 70s.

And eventually, you headed out to the town that this treasure is supposedly hidden near, Port Hollow on the Cornish coast.

I did not mention it at the time because A, I'm not sure if anybody's going to get the reference and B, if they did, it would give away way too much of the plot.

For the like two people in our audience who will actually get that, that's the radio station from the fog.
That's the best horror movie I ever watched.

It is buried in a solid bank of fog, largely abandoned signs of violence in some places, signs of slaughter in some places, uh, Eventually you met the, the vicar at the local church, uh, who filled in some, some details, uh, Daniel and his girlfriend, Andrea came, came to town about a week ago, digging into archives, researching the legends about the treasure.

And shortly thereafter, the fog settled in when it did some people just got lost in the fog.

Some were altered in some disturbing ways, and some were killed, largely by the ones that were altered.

Vicar also told you that he was deathly afraid of the dark, so he had every light in the church blasting at full, and he pointed your way toward the rental cottage where Daniel and Andrea were staying.

So you headed out across an open field behind some of the houses on the way to the rental cottage, not terribly far away, which of course is when the power went out and the lights went out and the bright glow of the church behind you went out and the church bell started ringing desperately, frantically.

One important thing you have learned so far is that whatever's going on in this town, uh, responds to, to, to sound.

So as the church bells are bong, bong, bong in the background, you're hissing, you're hearing hissing and cackling and clicking from all directions, closing in on the church.

So as we reach our joint, our heroes question mark, I think we're, we are just in time to see a, a figure starting to appear out of the fog.

You haven't, haven't gotten a very clear look at, but, um, If you can see it, it can probably see you.
