yeah thanks ken that really was the through line across the cohort as we've just heard these were very different businesses but each of them was trying to bring a genuinely novel model to market that didn't sit neatly inside any of the existing regulatory categories and that's a real issue because in this sector regulatory uncertainty is itself a barrier to innovation it slows things down drives up cost and in some cases stops good ideas from getting off the ground at all.

So the sandbox was as much about giving everyone a way to work through that uncertainty together as it was about testing any particular product.

It was a learning experience for the participants but equally for the FMA, giving them a much closer view of how novel business models actually operate and where the regulatory settings need to flex to accommodate them.

I think that's a really important dynamic and one of the more valuable outcomes of the pilot.
