Jo ZachanyHost
I'm your host, Jo Zachani, violist, yoga teacher, and coach for classical musicians.

Here, we switch from grind to kind in our artistic process so that artists like you can avoid burnout, ditch performance anxiety, and create a thriving, healthy life on and off stage.

We are a couple months away, if you're listening in real time, from when we launched this podcast, and man, a lot has changed.

[laughs] I have left my steady full-time job with the Cleveland Orchestra and have been operating full-time as the coach, the podcaster, business owner, and frankly, the custodian of Mindful Opus because to me, this is so much more than my job now.

It feels like an important place for people to come hang out, rest, be themselves, maybe hear themselves in some of these conversations, and really, in just resisting the frameworks in our industry that don't serve us.

So hopefully, we can all change from grind to kind, starting where we can, ourselves and our wellbeing.

So today, I'll be sharing a bit about season three, what to expect, what's changing, what's staying the same.

And we're also getting right into episode one, tackling the concept of what to do around frameworks that no longer serve you, and how to create new ones for yourself.

So stay tuned all the way through for how you can apply some of these ideas into your own life, and hopefully, create some powerful shifts both in your art and your life.
