Tribeca: Red Carpet w/ Director/Writer Rob Rice and Actor Michael Patrick Thornton for the World Premiere of Ponderosa (Video on Spotify)

This was one of my most interesting red carpets ever.

I'm only going to say a little bit here because I really think this deserves its own Substack essay.

But it was insane, guys.

Okay, so Without a Doubt is one of the most intense red carpets I've ever been on.

I'll go into the details, but it was a full...

It was a full thunderstorm going on all around us.

And we're under, like, a little bitty tent in front of the Angelica Theater.

And, you know, I was doing my best to not get completely rained on.

I had practically no time to set up my stuff.

I was all the way at the end.

It was a small red carpet.

This was the same red carpet I did the Iconoclast red carpet on.

But it was a completely different vibe.

Like, I didn't get any pictures on the carpet.

I was... already getting rained on.

So I was trying to make sure my camera and mic weren't getting rained on as well.

It was insane.

And there was no possibility of setting up so that I could be talking to the guests on the red carpet, which was different for me.

Yeah, that was an interesting bit.

Alexis Bledel was there, but she walked straight off the carpet after taking pictures so she could stay dry, which was such a bummer because I really like her.

I'll go into a little bit more about my interaction with her prior to the red carpet starting.

on Substack.

But I will say I only got three interviews on this carpet, and I lost one of them.

So one of the main actors is named Jack Dylan Grazer.

He plays the boy in the film.
