oh sure yeah yeah so the ban list article will be out tomorrow and I wanted to read out something that I wrote in the 2605 fan list.

Because it's been so interesting to hear different comments about what people's expectations are.

And also sometimes people are like, when is the ban list coming out? I'm like, we've posted these things.

And I don't fault people for it.

I just am surprised that...

Someone didn't go, like, this information hasn't circulated more.

So in the 2605 banlist article, we said, last year, we needed to lock in the changes for 2510 on the weekend of the final Continental Championship.

With such a constrained timeline, we were unable to properly flesh out ideas, let alone test them.

We had to make our decisions based solely on judgment.

As Worlds is taking place earlier this year, to ensure competitors have a minimum of four weeks to prepare, any balanced decisions would need to happen before some regions have had their Continental Championships.

And that is true.

We have, what, I think three more? Is that correct? Did I go?

uh i think i thought it was two but now i'm now i'm double checking myself uh i think because we've no i think no i think there's let's oh you're right because there's no there's just two

more maybe there's only two more okay yeah but there was one because there

was yeah there was one this last weekend that was probably right and of course

like for context right like If there was extensive testing and extensive changes and all this other stuff, I'd have to write the article starting this Monday.

I actually did have to.

I submitted the article on Tuesday.

So last weekend wouldn't have been a factor in any of the decisions that were made.

So going back to what we wrote here, this world is taking place earlier this year to ensure competitors have a minimum of four weeks to prepare any balanced decisions that need to happen, blah, blah, blah.

Given these constraints, we expect this year's world's ban list update 2609 will have no changes barring any extreme circumstances jeff do you think there's any extreme circumstances in the meta at the moment

uh i mean from the jeff opinion no i think there's reasons that people might feel like there are extreme circumstances but i think i think the
