I, um, well, I've been getting those, you know, the, the, the Chinese TikTok AI voice, and I was like, "We should do the whole episode like this," and then n- no, no, nobody did the homework.
Uh, 'cause it's the, that's the thing, is you, you have to, like, you have to keep it a little clipped so that you don't lean into the racist, you know? It's, you have to keep it respectful.
Speaking of not talking normally, remember when they fucked up the intro of this movie and had to ship a new version?
And it's still mixed a little weird on my copy, but, like, when she's drumming, like, you can-
She's barely audible over the drums in the original, and they had, they, like...
I guess nobody noticed that the first, like, 15 minutes of the movie, the dialogue was fucked up and mixed, like, lower than the...
It's like The Mummy almost, but in reverse, where it's like the, the, the music was mixed louder than the dialogue.
They shipped out the new hard drive, and after, like, like two days of having Spider-Verse in theaters, we had to like, you know, shut the projectors down and then like, you know, come in early and download the... 'Cause DCPs are big.
They're like, you know, hundreds of gigabytes, and you have to transfer them over, like I say, that connection.
So you, you're just spending, like, two hours re-downloading the fucking Spider-Verse movie because nobody watched the movie when it came out.
It could, like, it could support, like, four simultaneous downloads from hard drives, which was nice.
That would've been very nice if we could just get, like, a, a little mailer with, like, a, a PCIE SSD.
I mean, considering con- I mean, considering the, like, fact Phil Lord was running the animation department like a, a goddamn labor camp, doesn't surprise me that they had to ship it out in a incomplete form [laughs] just to meet the fucking deadline.
