The ASX two hundred is trading down about, uh, thirty points, uh, point three five of a percent lower to eighty-six ninety-six.
Uh, we're seeing a cautious session as the index retreats from yesterday's flat close.
Uh, we saw consumers' one-year inflation expectations jump into three point nine percent in, uh, September, uh, in the US overnight as well.
On the commodity side, we have Brent Crude trading up one percent, one oh one twenty US a barrel.
On the sector side, on the local market, uh, we've got, uh, five out of eleven sectors trading higher.
In the top spot, utilities up point eight of a percent, consumer staples up about the same, uh, and real estate names up about half a percent.
On the weaker side, we've got tech off two and a half percent, materials off two point two percent, and energy names off one and a half percent.
