So, Noel, your latest newsletter on your noelwhittaker.com.au site contains some very interesting things kicking off with the Reserve Bank.

The 18th of February is when they're going to decide, a Tuesday, right?

Until now, it was always the second Tuesday in the month.

But when they made major changes to the Reserve Bank, it's now going to be the 18th, which is not the third.

I think it's now the third Tuesday.

Why? I have no idea.

But I think it will change from month to month now.

Do you think there'll be an increase or a decrease?

I'm one of 32 alleged experts who they survey every month and they publish our answers, so we've got to be spot on.

Everybody I think but me will predict that there will be a cut, and I'm predicting there won't be a cut.

Because the way the Reserve Bank Board members work, they'd rather wait a month than make the wrong decision.

There'll be a cut this year for sure, but I don't think it'll be just yet.

If you had a vote on the Reserve Bank board, what would be your call?

It's very hard because the whole flaw in this monetary policy system is we're trying to knock the economy on the head by penalising one third of the population, and that's working families.

And that's the problem.

I mean, I would like to cut, yes, but I'm not sure if that'll fix inflation or not.

This is the problem.
