What if getting more visible isn't about reaching more people, but being seen by the clients you most want to coach? In this episode, I introduce the Visibility Series and explain why visibility…
If I created the definition, what would that mean? And one of the definitions would be a well-paid coach.
If you treat your coaching business not as a hobby, not as a coach who makes money, but as an entrepreneur who is risking themselves to build something great, someone seeking high reward, someone ambitious, a business person, you will be well paid.
And you know, for a long time, my business was and, and still very much is, I help life coaches make money.
But a few years ago, I realized or I was thinking and answering the question, how do I think so differently than most of my clients? What are all of the things that make me think differently than them? What is it exactly? And part of that has always been how I think about selling and the way I think about the buyer, and also it was, I think like an entrepreneur.
It's like my identity is coach, and then what I do is entrepreneur, if entrepreneur was a verb.
And I do think of myself as an amazing businessperson, and I have lots of evidence for that, measurable evidence to prove so.
And then I've been thinking, how have I created the result of being an amazing businessperson? And I believe what has created this result has been high conversion rates, a highly profitable clientele who don't just follow, they buy, and then me running a business in a way that keeps me well-paid.
And thinking and doing like an entrepreneur has changed the way that I market, the way that I do everything.
Like, if you think about, you know, I've talked about the three-part business engine, marketing, selling, delivering.
When I think about the very first thing we're doing, marketing, and I think about visibility, I think about how differently I see the world because I think like an entrepreneur.
Being an entrepreneur has changed how I create visibility, what its purpose is, how to utilize it when I actually have it.
My agenda, I've noticed over the years, is radically different than many of my clients and some of my coach friends.
Now, I do think it's worth mentioning here that I also have no desire to be famous.
And I recently saw this video on social media, and it said, like, as an entrepreneur, you can't think your job is to create content and to try to be a content creator.
If you wanna be paid, you gotta know your job is to be an entrepreneur and, like, go sell some shit.
