This is what I teach with, you know, my Soul School and really rising into your divine feminine from a place of love is, we have forgotten generation after generation, and epigenetics shows us that we have, I think it's seven to ni- nine generations within us in our DNA.

So it's like our mothers, our grandmothers, grandmothers, grandmothers, like whatever pain, trauma they've experienced, which all of them have, right? That's within us too.

So that unworthiness, the fear of being seen, the fear of speaking out, like all of this becomes the itty-bitty shitty committee in shame.
Welcome to the Make It You Podcast, where we get to talk about personal style, but also all the parts around it that influence your life, relationships, dating again, life transitions, career moves, and everything in between.
I'm Tanya Bernadette, a personal stylist with over 15 years of experience helping people all over the world shop.
Decision overwhelm is real, and when you're a busy professional, you wanna get straight to the point of what you need.
And I am here to share about client experiences, my own stories, and of course, fashion advice to get you stepping into the most powerful version of you.
There is something I think that so many women are craving right now, and it's this feeling of wanting to come back home to themselves, to feel grounded and clear and present, and yet the noise of the world from every text message, Instagram ad, and constant motion of our fast-paced life can make it feel impossible to feel any stillness.
It also creates a pressure to keep on going, to achieve more, to constantly perform, to hold everything together while quietly feeling disconnected underneath all of it.
And I think that so many women today are successful externally, while internally feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, and anxious, or unsure of who they even are anymore, outside of all the responsibilities that they have.
And somewhere along the way, we lose touch with our actual desires, what we truly want outside of everybody else's expectations and opinions.
So if you've been feeling disconnected lately, this episode is absolutely for you.
Today, I'm joined by Audrey Sutton-Mills, author of Quiet the Itty-Bitty Shitty Committee, self-love teacher, and founder of Soul School.
Through her work, Audrey helps women heal self-doubt, reconnect with themselves, soften perfectionism, and trust who they are again after life experiences that crack them open.
In her own story, Audrey openly shares navigating divorce, grief, postpartum anxiety, motherhood, and all the changes that come with your identity through it, and how those experiences ultimately became the foundation of her work helping women come home to themselves again.
This conversation felt incredibly timely for me personally, because I think many of us are functioning, producing, and helping everyone around us, while quietly struggling to feel present in our own lives.
And today, we getta talk about the inner critic, the fear of the unknown, intuition, self-worth, feminine softness, which is what I personally am excited about, and so much more.
