Hey! I'd love to hear your thoughts, send me a voice note. Day of the 30-Day Challenge! Personal Change Happens When You Change the People…
Number one, get clear before you get busy.
Most of the changes you have attempted failed because your goal was vague.
You must also name the identity as well as the outcome.
Identity helps you change toward the changes.
The one-sentence rule is if you say, "I want to change my behavior to blank because..." If you can't name the blank, you won't stick with it because your goal is not clear.
Pick a goal for thirty days and stick to it, to it.
One goal at a time.
You can't overhaul everything about you at once.
Like, if your goal is to eat better, focus on that for thirty days, then it will become a habit, habit.
For the next thirty days, focus on spending less time on social media.
You will get good at that.
In thirty days, it will become a habit, and so on.
Shrink your goal until it is stupid easy.
Make ea- each version so small that it becomes natural.
An example is not journaling every day, but when you find the time once a week until it becomes a natural habit.
Natural behavior happens when motivation, ability, and prompt meet.
Stack it.
Stack it on something you already do.
Do not create a new routine.
Attach it to one you do best.
For example, after dinner, I will lay out my clothes for the tomorrow.
If time is your en- enemy in the morning, wash on Saturday.
Nope.
If time is your enemy in the morning, wash on Saturday or Sunday and set out your clothes for the whole entire week.
If you're absent-minded, design your en- environment ahead of time.
