New set is out soon so why don't you learn the ins and outs of what we think is important in out eccentric, deck-centric set review. Instead of looking at cards, we build decks and show you how we…

and not 12-hour games of CDH.
The idea is pretty simple.
Instead of reviewing card by card, we want to focus on building fully, well, what we hope are fully functional decks.
And then through that, we want to highlight what might be important in the format and look at it more holistically than through the prism of individual cards.
Skeletons should be somewhat realistic, and to keep that realism, we don't want to load it with 12 rares and then 0 commons.
So our loose rules of building skeletons is that they are between 0 and 2 rares and mythics without duplication, between 0 and 10 uncommons, where some duplication is OK, but don't push it, and then fill it up with commons with maximum 2 of each.
Those are guidelines.
You don't have to follow it strictly if you think that there is a particularly interesting archetype that would require multiple copies of a specific common that no one wants to draft.
Sure, you can do that.
