The company of Nott, Maldita, Dorca, and Trach joined with the artisans they had rescued from ambush and made camp.
They chatted with them, and Trach revealed his identity.
But Perrin, the leader of the artisans, explained that she has doubts about Queen Brank.
She thinks that she's a cruel queen and came close to offering her support to Trach.
Nott decided to take the first watch, and during his watch, he heard soldiers approaching.
They discussed what this might mean and expect that it could be someone who is opposed to Queen Brank who has sought support from the realm to the south, and the southern realm has sent troops to aid them in some kind of attack on the nearby holding of Freetown.
They decided to send Maldita and two of the four artisans north with the horses to provide a warning to the people in Freetown.
So there's five from the group staying here in the bog and three riding north.
Those who are staying moved off the dry trail passing through the bog and hid in the darkness.
And waiting there in the night for the troops to arrive, they saw that these troops are not living people, but another group of undead soldiers.
They amount to three warbands, so that could be about 60 soldiers.
And that's where we left it last time.
