Welcome back to Lower League Degens! Episode 19 is all about the massive new update that just dropped and completely changes how we manage our squads. Between the introduction of Focused Training and…
So let's start in the order that they've got it here.
So custom training is the first thing.
We've had the discussions the whole, I think, feel like the whole community's had discussions about custom training and how it can be used, and the, the benefits, and, uh, stuff from it.
But I know Thomas, you kinda disagree with, with me on how much you think it's actually gonna be, uh, advantageous and how much it's gonna matter.
So, uh, I feel like it's gonna be...
I think, so you get two free groups to start off.
Uh, so two-
Mm-hmm
... outfield groups and one goalkeeper group.
Yeah.
I feel like having at least that extra group that you can purchase, uh, to make it three outfielders and have, like, a defender, midfielder, and a forward group will be important.
But you don't think it'll be that important.
I think it's like we, we discussed on Monday.
Uh, I, I think that if you have...
I think you can...
There's a lot of changes, so for a new user y- or like a s- couple of season user, you don't have to take it all on board at one go.
Um, because, like, if you're happy with the progression your player's getting now, uh, the extra focus on challenging those pro- progressions in on certain stats isn't that important, especially if you're running a low-budget agency with a lot of retirees, older guys who has already spent that much of their progression.
I think you can kind of skip it to...
Don't have to.
You can opt not to, like, do it, because I'm not sure how much actual benefit it will give you, like, for your overall team during the season you're in and stuff.
I think it's, has more of, like, if you have young players, it's of course you want to mold them into your own players.
That will be a more beneficial.
Then it would be more beneficial.
But, like, in results in the games and stuff, I don't think...
It will be in, in, uh, it, it will be interesting how much of that will be dependent on your training or your tactics and stuff.
