Azul Beauty Podcast #318 (Dr. V, New Fat Grafting, Cellulite Treatments)

So, as Gina said, I'm Dr. Elizabeth Rico.

I'm a plastic and reconstructive surgeon.

I'm fully trained.

First, I did a general surgery residency in Hackensack University Medical Center in northern New Jersey.

And then I went on to do a plastic and reconstructive surgery residency for three years.

And then I did one additional year of a fellowship doing some additional training in high BMI aesthetics and things like that.

And then I worked for a couple years up in northern New Jersey doing a lot of general plastics as well as some cosmetic and a lot of breast reconstruction, actually.

So that's kind of like my background.

And then we're new to southwest Florida here and the beautiful sunny weather.

I have to say, though, the summer's been very hot.

It's been a little bit oppressive.

If you can power through the next few weeks, there is light at the end of the tunnel.

I promise.

Although I have

to say, I'm noticing the change.

I was like, oh, wow, it's cool.

My mom's in town.

I was like, oh, wow, it's nice and cooler today.

She's like, what are you talking about? She's used to the cooler weather in the north.

And I said, what do you mean? It's nine o'clock, but it's only 87 degrees.

Yeah.

You're right.

For most people, they'd be think they think that is insane.

That's what it is, you know, high time where they're from.

But yeah, it is changing a little bit.
