So, you know, we were talking before we turned the mics on about the facelift and how that's kind of the holy grail when it comes to facial rejuvenation and cosmetic surgery.

It's a magic wand, but not the magic magic wand, because there's still some things that it does not address through the aging process.

There are... endoscopic facelifts there's you know facelifts that involve also coming up and addressing skin laxity that's sort of next to the eye and temple um even extending all the way to the to the forehead um

And, you know, there's the mini lift or we could say skin only facelift where you still get incisions and you dissect a little bit, but you just remove skin.

And basically what happens is that that layer descends as we get more graceful with time.

And that's, you know, unless you address this SMAS layer, you are not going to fix the jowl.

So if somebody has just a little bit of skin laxity, not really a lot of jowling at all, sure, a skin only facelift may be appropriate.
