Natalie ThomasGuestLivie WellsHostWell, continuing on the thing of an invisible disease, you know, this is something that I bring up, I think, practically in every episode.
And it's that when your friends, family, and even people you don't know will say something to you and say, well, you don't look sick.

And I think sometimes that can trick people, right? So if you look well, surely you feel well, right? And so I think that tricks people.

And so I know I was talking to a client And she actually wasn't an illness, but it was something else she was struggling with.

because it had been something that had happened a year ago and it was an anniversary for her right but to others they've moved on with life and so i said maybe they forgot did you remind them and say you know this is my one year anniversary i'm really struggling with this and if you could if you have some time just give me a call i really you know would like that or send me a text and she says well why should i have to communicate it And I think that's where we all we all are.

And so when they say things like that, not to take it personal, but to use that as a communication piece and say, you know, you could even say, you know, looking well and feeling well are two different things.

So today I'm struggling with itching and it's really, you know, stressful for me.

And that way they know, oh, okay, this is what she's experiencing and this is how she feels about what she's experiencing.
