"Dana Walden Addresses Disney Layoffs: 'Technology Set Their Sights On Our Business.'" Now, this is in reference to the, uh, layoffs that have been, uh, happening this year as well as the voluntary retirement program.
Uh, Dana Walden, last week, they, she addressed this because, again, Disney laid off a couple hundred employees, uh, in the tech and HR space.
They had 1,000 employees after, uh, uh, let go after Josh Zamarrow w- uh, was named CEO, and after she was bumped up, uh, in her role as well.
Technology, i.e. AI, is really about to hit a lot of these spaces, and we're going to see job losses from it, unfortunately.
Um, I wonder if my job at the job I previously had at, uh, Bounce TV at EW Scripps, I wonder if that was replaced with AI.
