Do you think Magics, Magic sets in the current year have been better or worse for Limited play than the ones from two years ago? For reference, that would be Murders at Karlov Manor, Outlaws at Thunder Junction, Modern Horizons 3, Bloomburrow, Duskmourn, and Foundations in 2024.
Um, well, I think this has been worse, but mainly because of the small sets, you know, that they've kind of put, put out.
Um, you know, from Spider-Man to Teenage Mu- Ninja Turtles, and yes, by the way, The Hobbit is also that same framework, that kind of pick two vibe, uh, where there's far fewer cards.
They focus on five ar- two color archetypes rather than the full 10, and then there's this wrinkle where it can be drafted with four players picking two cards each rather than the, the normal six or eight drafting one card each.
But it feels like maybe they've learned a few lessons or maybe made a few wrinkles here or there, because even though I prefer the bigger sets like the one we just had here with Marvel Superheroes, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles was fine.
I, you know, I, I put it s- through its paces, and I'm anticipating doing the same thing with The Hobbit.
So you have, like, Final Fantasy, Edge of Eternities, um, Spider-Man, Avatar, Lorwyn Eclipsed, m- and Ninja Turtles, Secrets of Strixhaven, and Marvel.
