[upbeat music] All right, what's going on everybody? Welcome to this week's episode.
Hope you're enjoying this format.
I am.
I think I should say that.
Last week, somebody commented on, uh, the State of the Format Address episode saying like, "Hey, usually on the State of the Format Address episode you say, 'Oh, loving this format, you'll play it a lot.'" And I didn't say that.
And, uh, you know, it wasn't intentional for me not to say that, but at the same time, I kinda...
You know, it wasn't spark and joy for me on week one.
I, I was uncharacteristically pessimistic and was a little bit worried that this format would be just draft blue-white forever.
Uh, at least in my experience, it hasn't been that.
And this week I've explored a lot more of the format and I, I am really enjoying it.
So happy to say yes, I'm having a good time.
Hope you are too.
So it's gonna be a little bit of a grab baggy episode.
You know, we're still in the early days of the format.
Lot of stuff that I wanna touch on, but we are gonna start with something a little bit structured, something I think is gonna be helpful for a lot of folks, uh, something I'm calling my grand unified theory of how to draft a good deck in this format.
And I promise it's not just draft good white cards and good blue cards.
That's a big part of it, but there is more to that.
Let's jump into today's episode.
