Have you ever known exactly what a photo looked like, but had absolutely no idea when you took it or where it was hiding? Maybe you remember who was in it, where you were, one tiny detail in the background, or perhaps you know where it was taken and wish you could simply revisit that place inside your photos library.
The good news is that your iPhone already has some surprisingly helpful tools for finding those photos, if you know where to look and what clues to give.
Welcome back to Sorted Out.
We're Christie and Amanda, childhood best friends turned professional photo organizers, and we are so glad that you're here.
This podcast is all about making photo organizing feel simpler.
No guilt, no overwhelm, just realistic advice mixed with real-life mom moments and everyday lessons we're learning right alongside you.
We're moms, we're busy, and life is messy, so around here we're focused on progress, not perfection.
Today, we're beginning the third and final question in our top iPhone question series.
We started by asking, where are my photos? Then we explored, why is my iPhone so full? And now we're asking, how do I find a photo on my iPhone? Because knowing that a photo is probably somewhere in your photos library is one thing, actually finding it when you need it is something completely different.
And we're not only using our iPhones to capture memories anymore.
We're taking photos of school schedules, receipts, recipes, parking spots, products in stores, appointment information, and all kinds of things we're convinced we'll remember later.
That means we aren't always searching for a favorite family photo.
Sometimes we're looking for one tiny piece of information buried among thousands of images, but finding it doesn't have to mean scrolling through your entire life one thumbnail at a time.
Over the next three tiny tasks, we are gonna explore three ways your iPhone can help.
So let's get into it.
