The title of the message today, Fearless Faith.

Fearless Faith.

I wanna pray right before we, uh, g- get into the heart of this message and ask God to speak to you personally.

Father, I'm praying right now in the name that's above every name, the name of Jesus, that the Holy Spirit, who is our teacher, would teach us today and apply this verse and the story to our lives.

You know what is going on in every life and every person, and I'm praying right now that you would meet us at our point of need.

I'm praying that you would make us more like Jesus.

I'm praying that people would put their faith in Jesus today, and that believers would grow in their faith.

And when we come to the time of invitation and response, I pray we would surrender our lives completely to you.

In Jesus' name, and everyone said.

Fearless faith.

Write this down.

Number one, fearless faith protects.

That's the first thing I see.

Fearless faith protects.

See, Moses' parents hid him.

Why did they hide him? Because they're trying to protect him, and they refused to fear the king's edict.

Now, how in the world did the Israelites end up in Egypt? I'm glad you asked.

Last Sunday, we studied about a guy named Joseph, and Joseph occupies the largest portion of the Book of Genesis and the end of the book.

And if you'll remember, Joseph's brothers were jealous of him.

They sold him into slavery.

He ends up in Egypt.

There's a famine in the land.

Jacob and his family have to go there for food.
