So before we meet our guest today, tell us a bit more about Philanthropy 2035.

Looking ahead 10 years, when who knows what might happen, is a bold move, especially considering what's happened over the last 10 years.
When we recognized that there was this kind of growing interest in encouraging more high-net-worths to give, we thought, "Right, well, it's time that we actually start highlighting some of the ex- expectations that charities have." So we went to members with a simple question that has a very complex answer.
What do charities want philanthropy to look like in 10 years, and what are the steps to get there? Since then, we have launched the Philanthropy 2035 hub on our website that has the latest policy developments and research related to high-net-worth giving.
And through the hub, we've launched two original research reports based on qualitative research for with our members.
And the work doesn't stop there, so we're now proactively working with government regulators, and of course, our guest, Rory, who, um, we'll be hearing from in a moment, to make sure that our members' views are represented in all of these policy d- discussions so that ultimately any key policy developments benefit charities and fundraisers.

And we'll put all the links to everything that we talk about today, including to the Philanthropy 2035 hub, in our show notes, so check those out, uh, when you can.
