In this episode of Let's Talk About Tech, host Philipp Sakuler sits down with Peter Stolcz, Director of B2B Sales at AMINA, to explore what actually separates regulated crypto providers now that…
Now, if we look into the future beyond custody and trading, Amina has been moving into staking, tokenized assets and structured products.
I would say the aim is actually quite simple, so I would probably simplify it quite a lot.
In my opinion, additional services will of course be very important to offer to institutions.
But as we see the space today, financial institutions and other regulated providers, regulated institutions basically are offering the baseline of these services.
So it is essentially still plain Manila trading and custody, which is, the question is how well this can be done.
Thinking about, for example, how well is settlement designed? How well is the connectivity designed for trading? And how sophisticated is the custody? Can we provide, what is the support level for the assets? What is the security level of the custodian? How is Val's business continuity management designed for Cassidy? These are all very important points when we look into the great detail of things.
Of course, additional services such as staking are also very important because in the end, this will be a future demand.
But I would say, simply put, Amino wants to be... robust custodian in the space that is positioned, of course, not just for financial institutions, but facing basically regulated counterparties, financial institutions, high net worth individuals, and also qualified investors in the space.
And it has its foothold on the market, both on the, let's say, talking about, let's say now the European market.
