Have you been putting off a needed change because life feels too full or the changes feel too big? What if you could make significant, sustainable progress with micro-efforts? Today we're sharing some…
Instead, we want sustainable change that happens naturally and gradually over time through simple steps that we call micro efforts.
And the real premise here, I think the focus of this whole conversation we'll have today, is that small effort or efforts consistently made over a time horizon really can and will yield enormous results or outcomes and change for you.
And so we just encourage you to be thinking of areas of your life where you'd like to see changes happen, and then what's one small micro effort, one or more micro efforts, but start with one, keep it simple, that if consistently done and applied over time would really bring you to that result.
And the reason why we've been focusing on this is because in our ARISE community this month, this is our focus.
So we're getting the workshop ready, which if you're listening to this right when the podcast goes live, the workshop is on Tuesday, upcoming Tuesday.
But we just are so excited to not only apply these principles to our own lives more and more, but to learn from the ARISErs and have the whole community strengthen each other.
So yeah, April, actually we're out on a, we're on a hike earlier this morning, just kinda walking and talking, thinking through what we wanted to kinda put into our ARISE focus for the month, and also what we wanted to record on this podcast here.
And th- really the proverb came to my mind, we've all heard it a, a number of times, but it's that idea that the journey of a thousand miles begins with just one step, and then it's one step after that.
A hike, a flight, a trip that we'll take, like literally it's mile after mile till we get to our destinations or our goals.
