And so even in the explanation in a parent-teacher conference, you can tell that early on teachers are trying to educate parents as to what it actually means, that it doesn't, you know...

Your pointing to the school system evaluation was kind of in the back of my mind as well, and it's a good one, uh, because it illustrates a lot of the problems that are present throughout the field note and that would be in all of our circumstances where you would get that performance review and hear that meet expectations or exceeded expectations or you didn't quite make it.
