So can you explain how should we be thinking about energy as citizens, as voters, and why it's so important for both our lives personally and for the fate of the countries that we live in?
But of course, it's also great to have it in the hospital or being able to produce enough food.
Remember, half of the world's food today is grown with artificial fertilizer that comes from mostly gas.
So half of the world's population is now dependent on food that comes from energy.
That's possibly not quite as important in Israel, but definitely in the Nordic countries.
So what we've seen now is that we've become incredibly prosperous because we've gotten all these, you could almost call them artificial servants.
You and I and everyone in the rich world have the equivalent of several hundred servants available at our fingertips 24-7 compared to what we used to have when it was really just our own muscles that could do the work.
This is why energy is the fundamental point in getting humanity to be more prosperous.
And this, of course, is why China has seen this incredible growth in its economy, but also in its energy use.
