Email list growth tips that actually work in 2026 - plus, it's episode 50!! This is one of the biggest priorities I hear from people right now - building an inner circle of people who are warm…

And quite often my clients ask me this, like, "How can you tell if people are really interested?" Because I say this a lot.
I often say, like, you know, in your pre-launch you want people to be ready to buy before the doors are open, and people often ask me, like, "What does that look like?" And the thing is, not everyone is gonna message you directly to say that they're interested.
So I don't want you to think that if you're not getting loads of messages that your offer isn't, isn't worth selling because often people are just, like, silently thinking.
So we don't want to pin all of our predictions on what I'm about to say, but when you do have signals like people messaging you and asking you for the price, like, "What, what's the price gonna be?" People asking when it starts, people asking finer details like, "What's the support on offer?" Things like that, rather than people just being like, "This sounds great," when you ask them, or like, "Ooh, exciting." Though obviously those are really good too, but really the very best signal you have is people paying you.
But then the next best thing after that is people asking about those kind of finer details before the sales page is out.
That is a really, really good signal that your pre-launch messaging is landing with people, and that's the difference between a warm audience and a, [laughs] a hot inner circle.
And I've, [laughs] and I've had a really great amount of people send me those signals, which is really exciting.
But also, to be completely transparent, because so much unexpected stuff came up this week, as I said, the one thing that has slipped a bit on my side is getting more new people from my socials onto my list.
It's also making sure I have time to get the number of people on my list that I want for my launch, and that's something that I look at with my clients all the time as well, is that, you know, we need to look at these numbers and assess where we're at.
So this is very relevant to what we're chatting about today, list growth, and it also connects with what we were talking about last week in terms of not overly focusing on one part of your funnel.
And for me personally right now, I need to make sure I'm bringing more people into the top of my funnel for this launch, as well as keeping my lovely inner circle excited, and also focusing on helping people make the right decision for them when the time comes.
So that is how I can make my launch feel like a sure thing, like how I can really make hitting my sales goals more secure.
