We're Back! Teaser for Season 2

In season two, there are going to be some changes to the podcast.

One change that I can share right now is the podcasting schedule.

which until now had been weekly on Thursdays.

I'm releasing this one on a Thursday, but going forward, rather than adhering to a hard and fast calendar-based rule, you'll get episodes when they're ready to be released.

This means I'm not rushing to get episodes out when I don't have enough time to finish them.

It also means you may get other episodes sooner than you expect.

I'll also be taking breaks midstream, shorter than a whole summer, and I'll let you know when I do.

I do know that sometimes it's more fun to know exactly when a new episode will show up on your podcast channel.

I get it.

At the end of the day, all this means is that if you want to access episodes as soon as they drop, subscribing will be very, very important.

Other changes I'll probably decide midstream, depending on what works best for me and balancing podcast production with my daily life.

Land of Laura is, for the most part, a one-woman show.

the entire creation of the podcast, from planning topics to scheduling episodes, vetting and scheduling guests, pre-researching, researching, pre-interviewing, interviewing, recording the actual podcast, then editing it, which takes the longest by far, then distributing each episode along with all the extra information that's going to be helpful to listeners like you, and then marketing it so people can find it.

I do all of that by myself.

It's a lot.

I won't pretend it's not.

But at least right now, I'm excited enough about it that I don't want to stop.

So as a result, you may see other changes this year, new ways to support my work.

And you know, you're already doing the most important thing to support it.
