NOVEMBER 4th 2026 Nov 4th Clifton Food Bank

So we are a brick and mortar pantry that was established in years and years before my time, specifically by the churches to address a food, basically a food desert in Clifton.

It's too far from any other kind of food sources.

So we're in a little small little house.

It's actually the oldest house in Clifton proper.

And it's a little bitty tiny little yellow house in the south side of Clifton on Highway 6 and Avenue 9.

And you've been doing this since 2022,

right? Right.

Okay.

So how does the food bank stay stocked for the community throughout the year, especially since you rely on these local donations?

So it's interesting because we buy almost almost all of our food throughout the year.

So this actual food drive is so important to us.

I mean, we get one third of our year's allotment of food during food for families.

And it's advertisement like this time to be in front of the community, to tell them what we do and how we serve.

So we rely on the Food for Families drive.

And then we also rely on our regular donors.

We are privately funded, 100% privately funded.

We do not take government assistance at all.

And that's how we stay running throughout the years.

They bring money and we buy groceries every month.
