Glensound Beatrice D12 Brings Dante Monitoring to Desktop | IBC2026

We're on the Glen Sand booth for their 60th anniversary and I'm with Mark and we're talking about the Beatrice D12.

Mark, so we're standing in front of the Beatrice D12.

I'm not sure, have I seen this before?

You've not.

This is the first time the D12 has been seen.

Earlier in the year we launched the R12 up here, which is the rack mount version of the Beatrice where we added screens.

Essentially, the D12 is the same unit but in a desktop version.

The R12 has been hugely popular, much more popular than we were anticipating, which has brought forward the demand for the desktop variant.

Functionality is the same, so it is 12 channels, although this is a physical sample.

on the screens you will see the labeling as on Dante controller so there's no settings here it will pull the labels from Dante controller show you where signal is present exactly the same as the screens here select the monitoring source four position keys here for talk monitoring adjust the gain of your channels left and right you've got choices of whether you want headset connections or mic connections on the top here It will be a PoE powered box.

It's very simple as you see it there.

The screens will look lovely when

they're powered.

It does what it does.

If you've got something that's working in a rack mount, they're always going to want a desktop version.

and it is literally the R12 in the desktop version, yes.

And we're being asked for it quite frequently.

I would imagine that other variations at the start of last year will also follow.
