Jack Reid - Narrative of the Nations

There's a long story behind how we got to where we are today.

Again, we spent eight years married here in the UK, working to raise and equip and send out laborers into what we term as some of the hardest to reach places and people groups on the planet.

We then moved here and moved to the Korean peninsula, worked there and labored there for many years again to raise laborers to send into the harvest fields of the world.

Then we spent 10 years almost in Kathmandu, Nepal, working amongst remote ethnic Tibetan Buddhist villages and bringing the gospel to 23 ethnic people groups.

We have seen over the last 20, almost 25 years, that 23 of those classified unreached people groups, 14 of those groups have flipped into the reach category, praise the Lord.

And the gospel is coming to places that we have thought, not just through us, but through the global body of Christ, as penetrating barriers and overcoming the significant hurdles that have stopped the gospel.

And we live in an exciting time today.

We live, our home is in the southern Caucasus of Armenia.

If you don't know where that is, it's sandwiched between Turkey and Azerbaijan to the east and west.

And we are right on the border of Iran.

And Iran and Armenia have a porous border.

Armenians can go into Iran without any permission required.

And Iranians can come into Armenia, which creates significant opportunities.

for our work and ministry to be able to influence that part of the world.

We have a burden that God has placed in our heart over the years for a region that we have coined, and there'll be maybe a map that comes up here behind me.

We've coined it Menaka.

That is an acronym which stands for the Middle East, North Africa, and Central Asia.

It's a huge geographical scope.

There are approximately 2.2 billion people who live in Menaka, if you can imagine that.

32 nations that are Muslim majority.

And we want to exalt Jesus over those nations.
