What does that mean? The engine room is your spirit man, and everything flows from your spirit man, from relationship with God, with the Father.

When you switch the thing on, suddenly there's a sound going and you think, hmm, there's something under there, something in there.

When the engine is running, you know something's happening, and the vehicle can move, it can go somewhere.

When the engine is not running, the vehicle can't go anywhere, it's static, it can't take anyone anywhere.

But if you start the engine, then there's so many possibilities of movement, of travel, of going places, of direction.

And a natural engine needs fuel, petrol or diesel, but your spiritual engine needs fuel, which you've already said, which is the Word and the Spirit.

And what you do with a car, you look after it, you service it, you make sure that the oil is kept fresh and clean.

And so you serve as the thing, you look after it, you take care of the engine.

Because oil heats up in an engine and it gets to an incredibly high temperature.

What we put into this engine, into this temple, into this life, determines how well the engine does or doesn't run, how effective it is or how much you then cause trouble and strife and angst because of whatever we feed on, whatever we put in, affects the oil.
