This is I mean, there's parents out there listening to this and they're recognizing in your story, you know, aspects, I think, from their own life.

It's the kind of thing you'd like you watch for just psychological, pathological reasons.

You spend a little bit of time on this and I want to sort of dissect what I heard in your story, which is, you know, I think we grow up with this belief that there's an escalator, right? And you get on the escalator when you're five or, you know, three or whatever age you are and you ride it maybe all the way through college and there's something good waiting for you at the other end of that escalator.

And embedded in that escalator are things like credentialism, The right way is defined by these other people, these experts.

There's probably other certainly is like conformist thinking, right? Like this is what to think and this is how to do it.

So there's a strong pressure to actually turn off the, you know, out of the box thinking or divergent thinking or creative thinking.

end up, you know, contributing in the real world don't do so well in these structures.

So, you know, thinking about all of that in your escalator ride, I think most people kind of take it, roll with it and say, you just have to, like, that's just part of life.

This teacher isn't doing you any favors and they don't seem to care about you at all.
