What is this going on about the fish? [laughs] One day Jesus was teaching a big crowd of people near a lake called the Sea of Galilee.
So many people came out to see him that he needed a better place to speak from because it was so crowded.
[laughs] So he looked around the whole area.
He saw some fishing boats nearby.
The fishermen who owned the boats were on shore cleaning their nets after a long night of fishing.
Simon Peter and his friends, James and John, lived off of what they caught in the water.
They were like, "Here fishy, fishy, fishy." And the fish were like, "Nope, not tonight." If they didn't catch any fish, guess what? You got it, they couldn't eat.
He went by just Peter.
Jesus asked, "Hey, just Peter, can I use your boat to teach people?" Simon Peter said, "Um, I guess so." "Thanks," said Jesus.
"You won't regret it." "By the way, it's Peter, not just Peter," said Peter.
"Okay, got it.
"No problem," said Peter.
So much Peters.
He said lots of really good stuff, very inspirational.
"Hey, he's pretty good," Peter said.
"Yeah, he's definitely got some speaking skills," replied the others.
