Around the same time as Zacharias and Elizabeth, in a quiet town called Nazareth, there lived a young woman named Mary [laughs].
Mary was kind and loved God with all her heart.
She was also engaged to be married to a man named Joseph.
Joseph was a good guy, and he loved Mary very, very much [laughs].
[laughs] That was good.
One day, when Mary was sleeping in her room, ahhh, a bright, shining angel appeared right in front of Mary.
"So bright," said Mary.
"Hey Mary, my name's Gabriel.
I'm an angel.
The Lord sent me, and he is with you.
[laughs] You are very special to him." Mary covered her eyes and started shaking because she was so afraid.
"Oh Mary, don't be afraid," said the angel Gabriel.
"I've never seen an angel before," said Mary.
"Well, now you have," said Gabriel.
"I have something really important to tell you, straight from God himself." "Really? What is it?" said Mary.
"God has chosen you for something wonderful.
It's literally the greatest thing that will ever happen to the entire Earth, ever," said Gabriel.
"Wow, okay.
What is it?" said Mary.
"You are going to have a baby, and you will name him Jesus.
He will be the son of God, the savior of the world." "Wow," Mary couldn't believe what she was hearing.
"But how can this happen?" she asked.
Gabriel exclaimed, "This will be a miracle from God because nothing is impossible for him." Mary thought for a moment, "Is this real?" She could have said no, but instead she trusted God.
Mary turned to Gabriel and smiled.
"I am the Lord's servant.
