My name is Breana Bayraktar, and I'm your host for Keystone Concepts in Teaching, a higher education podcast from the Stern Center for Teaching and Learning, where we share impactful and evidence-based teaching practices to support all students and faculty.
I'm here with a special episode where we have four different guests who are reflecting on their experience with the 18th Annual Innovations in Teaching and Learning Conference, or ITL.
The Innovations in Teaching and Learning Conference provides an opportunity for instructors at George Mason University to share their teaching practice and learn about developments in teaching.
The goal of the conference is really to bring instructors from different disciplines and appointment types together to talk about teaching.
We aim to provide opportunities for instructors to share knowledge and experiences, and help everyone build skills to share their teaching with a broader audience.
To start, we heard from longtime attendees about what keeps drawing them back to ITL year after year.
