Um, I was even having a conversation with Eddie and Brian after my last fight and saying, "It's Croke Park or nothing for me.
Um, I'm gonna hang up the gloves if, if, if Croke Park doesn't happen." So, uh, I knew there was nothing else to chase after.
Um, uh, the only thing that I, I had a passion for was Croke Park, and so here we are.
And when you did the press conference, I think it was Friday, yesterday, uh, y- we saw pictures of you walking around the pitch and, and, and getting shots on the pitch.
And as I look on the pitch now, and I'll never get to perform here, but you will [laughs] it excites me.
Did, you know, did it, did it get the blood to start pumping? Was the heart-
... kind of racing that bit faster? How did it feel?
It actually made it real when I was actually walking around the venue, uh, yesterday and the day before.
I was like, "Oh, my gosh, this is actually happening." Especially yesterday when I seen actually, um, uh, my face on the, on the, on the screen as well.
Uh, so, um, but yeah, I have, uh, there's lots of excitement, uh, lots of buzz ar- around the place, but I, I also have a fight to prepare for as well.
It's a real challenge, and I, it's obviously very important that I end my career well.
It's very important I actually win this fight, and it's not gonna be an, an easy challenge.
So this is a real fight, a real challenge, and, um, I'm gonna be as hungry as ever stepping into that ring.
And does that make it all the more special, the fact that it is?
