Send us Fan Mail This isn’t an episode about telling people to stop taking creatine. It’s about the importance of listening to your own body…

If you followed me for a while, you've known for me to recommend creatine, right? I've taken it for years.

I still believe the research that it is one of the most studied and effective supplements for strength, muscle growth, recovery, and very much brain health, right? This is not an episode about me saying that creatine is bad.

This is just an episode about me going through the cycle of figuring out what was aggravating my body.

Because sometimes something can be so incredible for millions of people and, you know, still not right for you.

As women, as, you know, perimetopause, menopause women, studies are very varied when it comes down to what effects it can have on us.

multiple times, you know, centuries, years, months, weeks, for that matter, that things may not react the same for us as it does for others.

And it's weighing those pros and cons sometimes, right? So for the last couple of years, I've ignored what my body was trying to tell me.

I was constantly looking outside of adding stuff, right? Sometimes we get into this...

So we'll take something for it, right? Instead of pulling back and be like, okay, what am I doing that is causing this? And this is something as I'm going through perimetopause myself, is I am constantly looking at, I am looking at, could I possibly be doing something that is bringing on these symptoms? right? So today I want to share how I finally figured this all out and how it was a long process to get to where I'm at from doctor's visits, from IVs, from changing training.

So I just want you to know that what I'm talking about right now wasn't just something that I was like, it's this fault, right? I've literally gone through all the steps.
