Laura McClureHostWe're going to start off by saying that I have many friends in law enforcement and military who are canine handlers.
And while canine handlers and LEOs are law enforcement, excuse me, are going to use said products that we're gonna be discussing on their dogs, there is a reason, okay? But the tools that we're gonna be talking about today, prong collars, e-collars, they should not be used on regular household dogs.
And the reason is, I mean, if I have a bomb sniffing dog and that dog has a bad day and goes, I don't wanna listen, it's going to blow up.

You know, you're going to teach the dog how to use a full set of teeth, how to hold on, how to be overconfident in their jaw, but that's what they need for them.
I don't think I want fluffy, uh, wearing a prong collar and learning that it's okay to use a full set of teeth.
So with that being said, we're going to start this conversation because Laura and I get real heated over these conversations.

And it's definitely like, again, most people don't know because they go to the pet store.

They're looking for something for their dog, their new dog or their dog that's gotten older.
