Got up about 9:30, brushed my teeth, got in bed, and went back to sleep, and it felt great.
[lips smack] Uh, Sunday, just a couple days prior, I took a two-hour nap after church.
So with this, I'm getting close to 50, and I'm starting to feel like that energy is not what it was when I was in my 20s, and that, that's part of life.
[lips smack] But how can we strengthen our bodies? Well, a year ago, I couldn't do one pull-up, and it bothered me.
I was very frustrated, thinking if I ever had to jump over a wall, I probably couldn't.
And I thought, "You know, this has got to change." And so I got back into just doing a little bit, just one day a week and then two days a week.
And there's times in my life I've been on, I've been off, of how I eat and how I exercise or how I don't.
You know, my why is I'd like to have energy to play with my grandkids when they come.
Mine is I would like to, you know, have more time on this earth, not just for my own personal gain or my fear of death, but more time with my grandkids.
He was a hard worker outside, and I don't know why all those things happen, but he did get colon cancer and, you know, sad to see him at 69 years old, um, get real weak real fast and die.
